Gulzar is very much known in Jaghuri and rest of Hazarajat due to his bravery, resistance and sacrifices against neiboughring nabours, who time to time invaded Hazarajat. Dahmarda is known gate wy to Hazarajat for the Pashtoon neibourghings. In the course of regional history, Dahmarda has suffered a lot due to instable regional peace due to majority Pashtoons. During the last decades Dahmarda could establish educational institution for their childrens. Since then people of this village eared high quality education and proceeded to Ghazni and Kabul for higher education. Perhapes Dahmarda was one of the villages in Jaghuri were Girls were enroled more then boys in primary school, a decade ago.  The main reson behind these mobalization were exteremly love with education.

 Total population of Dahmarda is about 400 families, and about 90% of the families have one or two members abroad due to fear from procecution, who left the country during Taliban era. This immigration resulted boostup in the economy of Dahmarda. Life has changed, economically, people are induced to education, people have TV and satlite facilities, Automobile replace the animals, Coke and Fanta are served in the social gathering, and some women are even drives up to the near villages.

A number of younsters from this village is getting Engineering and other technical education in Kabul. Girls educated from Dahmarda are serving the community as teacher, and are in higher education in other cities. All these changes are due to peace and democracy introduced by foriegn forces, which is always welcomed by Hazaras. During the intervention of foriegn forces in Afghanistan, Hazaras were the only community who got reliefe.

Hazaras were always victim of race and religion bulling by Pashtoons through out the History. Particularly during Amir Abdur Rahman  (1880-1901), 60 % of the entire population of Hazaras were masscared by Amir due to their religion and ethnacity. Man above 14 years to 45 years, were all chained and proceeded to Kabul and put on death in a very brutial way.  Women and children were enslaved and sold out among Pashtoons and even non- Muslim. During the year 1900. Amir's treasury eared 6 million Afghani currency out of the Hazara slaves sale as revenue. 

After long oppression, for the first time Hazara got relief, in 1979's Russian invasion, secondly by westren forces in 2000. 

Dahmarda has great historical background through the centuries. Dahmarda is located on the borderline with the Pashtoon population of Ghazni and Zabul provinces. In the other words Dahmarda is gate way to Hazarajat. That’s why Dahmarda has been engaged in war with the Pashtoon Neighborhood through the centuries. Every single household in Dahmarda have been affected by war imposed by Pashtoons. In the 1939-40 during the famous JANGI JAWARI (War with Jawari tribes) whole Jaghuri was idulged in war with Pashtoons. Dahmarda has played a significant role in that war by deafeating the agressors Jawari tribes.

1992. The Pashtoons again attacked Dahmadra under the command of famous war lord from Zabul province Mulla Salam Rocketi. In this war 10 people from Dahmarda has been killed while more then 87 Pashtoon were killed. Lots of Pakistani Pashtoon tribes from Loralai and Zhob backed Pashtoon of Zabul against Dahmarda. Dahmarda people along with other Jaghuri Hazaras badly defeated the Pashtoon aggressors. 

Dhamarda were always ignored by other Jaghuri tribes in every sector of life.  First the first time School was established by Shuhada organization in 1998. More then 1200 students are enrolled in the school. 50% of the students are girls.

Due to civil war in Afghanistan lots of Dahmarda families and individuals fled the country and got refuge in Europe, USA and Australia. Those refugees are the main source of economic development of Dahmarda.

Dahmarda in USA:

During the civil war in 1994. first Dahmarda family of late Jamadar Jan Ali Mubariz took refuged to USA. Now a days about7 families are settled in USA.

In Australia:

 During Taliban government about 15 individuals reached to Australia, and now it has been estimated that arround 300 individuals and families are settled in Australia.

In Europe:

Like Australia and USA, 300 individuals and families are settled in Europe. Majority of them are in UK.

Syed Jalal:

Shrine of Syed Jalal in Dahmarda is well known among Jaghuri peopel. Hundres of people from Hazarajat comes to Dahmarda for Ziarat of Syed Jala. It is considered a holy shrine in the area.
